Learn English: Over 100 People Treated for Heat Illness at Colorado Airshow (hard)

More than 100 people were taken to medical tents at the Pikes Peak regional airshow in Colorado on Saturday due to heat-related illness.

Attendees reported a lack of shade and free water on the festival grounds as temperatures reached 96 degrees Fahrenheit.

Those affected experienced dehydration, heat exhaustion, and even heat stroke.

Five individuals were transported to hospitals, while others received IV fluids on-site.
