The lawsuit alleges that Hyundai pressured dealers to report unsold electric cars as sold, promising extra benefits and rewards in return.
The lawsuit also says that Hyundai managers told dealers that they needed to hit certain sales targets to please their investors back in Korea.
Hyundai has denied the allegations, but they're investigating the matter to see if anything illegal happened.
