The art gallery Lévy Gorvy Dayan (LGD) is closing its Hong Kong branch after operating for five years, as reported by the Financial Times.
Rebecca Wei, head of LGD's Asian operations, explained that the shift in client behavior led to the decision.
Clients have transitioned from in-person viewing to online purchasing, making a physical presence in Hong Kong less essential.
Although LGD will no longer maintain a dedicated space, Rebecca Wei will remain in Hong Kong and continue to work closely with the gallery.
